Together We Can

PADA is a registered non-profit, non-government organisation for parents and guardians of differently-abled adults.
PADA was registered in 2015 and works to:
☞ Build confidence in adults with intellectual disabilities and encourage them to excel beyond their capacity.
☞ Sensitize the society towards adults with disabilities.
☞ Support parents of such adults through counseling.
☞ Create awareness among parents about government schemes that are beneficial for adults with disabilities.

Our key accomplishments
☞ Managed paper and cloth bag making unit in Seva-in-Action, Bangalore.
☞ Designed and conducted model shop training program to teach money concept and shopping - our target was mildly, moderately, and severely intellectually-challenged students.
☞ Conceived and set up Rainbow Learning Centre to teach self-help and life skills to intellectually disabled adults.
☞ Rainbow Learning Centre is fully operational since 2017, teaching adults with different types of intellectual challenges. Refer  Rainbow Learning Centre   page for more details.

PADA is registered under Karnataka Persons With Disability Act.
PADA is a member of PARIVAAR (National Level Parents Association) and KPAMRC (Karnataka Parents Association for Mentally Retarded Citizens).
PADA has 80G and 12A certificates from the Income Tax department of India.
